Upselling

Upselling refers to when sales reps sell the customer a higher-end option of the product they bought or intended to buy. The example of upselling is when you want to buy a 200ml body lotion but you get offered the “bigger, better, and more efficient” 500ml version of the same product.

Upselling can be very profitable and can be done by every company depending on whether they have the right product to execute it.
