Serviceable Available Market (SAM)

Serviceable Available Market or SAM is the segment of the Total Addressable Market (TAM) that is within your geographical reach, based on your business’s capabilities and foregoing ventures.

SAM can be also described as the portion of TAM that is “available” for you to reach, but realistically can’t be reached in its full potential.
