Performance Plan

Performance Plan (PIP, Performance Improvement Plan) refers to the set of actions that take place when a sales rep doesn’t make a certain percentage of quota over the specific time frame.

Performance Plan may vary but they usually it’ll start with a simple warning, followed by disciplinary action.

If there is no improvement the Performance Plan may end up with termination.

The goal of Performance Plan is to help struggling sales reps set clear goals that’ll help him to stay on the right tracks and perform on the proper level.
