Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) is a lead that meets all of the requirements based on the principles set by the marketers. Such lead can be later on treated by a dedicated sales rep who can assess whether such a lead is ready to be closed by Sales Development Reps.
MQL is often the lead who was acquired using inbound marketing efforts including downloading a free ebook, filling out the form or taking the quiz.
