Marketing Qualification Reps
Marketing Qualified Reps are responsible for following-up with the leads that have engaged with specific content (mostly through internal marketing efforts). Such reps may contact a lead who has downloaded an ebook, filled out the form or took a survey.
The point is to check whether such a lead qualifies to potentially become a customer.
MQRs have a slightly easier job than Reps who are constantly on a lookout for new leads as they have little-to-no research to do.
Also, they don’t close the sale but only check whether a lead qualifies for the next step of the sales funnel.
