B2B (business-to-business) sales refer to a sales model in which companies sell products solely to other business instead of selling them directly to customers.
B2B sales are often much more complex and personal than a B2C sales. It is because you do not sell to a casual person but to a trained, a professional buyer knows how to get the best deal.
Also, while making B2B sales you often have to convince the whole team of so-called decision makers to actually make a sale.
Because of that B2B usually, have a longer sales cycle and are, generally, more strategic.
What is more, B2B Sales come in two, general types. First is when companies sell a product or a service that needs a business needs (things that they can’t operate without - electronic equipment, office supplies). Second, when a business sells supplies that another business needs to manufacture their own products.
