Account Based Marketing
Account Based Marketing is a form of marketing, usually used in a B2B sector, which uses individual targeting and personalized accounts in order to connect with specific accounts.
ABM is much different from what we encounter in a traditional form of marketing. It starts with identifying target leads/companies and is followed-up by the process of building and nurturing the relationship.
Contrary to targeting hundreds of leads, you identify the ones who seem to fit ‘the account profile’ the most of focus all of your resources on that particular lead.

It naturally creates a perfect alignment between sales and marketing as both sectors are targeting the same accounts, whereas, in traditional marketing, marketers opt to get the crowd whilst sales had to pick the ripest apple.
It makes the whole process more efficient. This happens thanks to such a picky targeting which helps to focus only on particular accounts which are more likely to become customers.
You can offer a better customer experience. As we all know, you can only help your customer as well as you know him. When it comes to ABM, there is no need to offer general customer support as you can research and design campaign specifically for unique accounts.
Getting better ROI out of marketing efforts as your marketers will be able to create personalized campaigns focusing on particular accounts instead of trying to revolve with hundreds of different leads.
